Here is the postage stamp!

On the previous post I wrote about a postage stamp with a picture of Alex on it. Today it was revealed, and here it is   They are available in Norway in May 2010.

Weekly News

I try to write a ‘Weekly News’ only once a week, but this is an emergency !

The Norwegian mail service has decided to make MGP-stamps to celebrate the 50th Anniversary. Next year it’s 50 years since Norway competed in ESC for the first time, and therefore they will make 4 stamps to honour the artists. The stamps will show the Norwegian artists that have won ESC, Bobbysocks-La det swinge (1985), Secret Garden-Nocturne (1995) and our dear Alexander in 2009. The fourth stamp is not decided yet.

The design of the stamps are not published, but they are under construction.

I wish Alex could get back to Norway soon… Now he is in Russia – again.

Edit and Weekly News

Earlier I wrote that Alex got Gucci GG 1607, but that’s not exactly right. His glasses are still Gucci, but I don’t know what type.

But if you are a crazy wannabe you can still buy GG 1607, those are were alike Haha.

 

The news is that Alex was ill some days ago, but I hope he feels better now since he went to USA.

And now it’s only 12 days left until Fairytale – The Movie comes out

Some Sunny Night

Hi again!
Now I’m going to tell you about the show!

It was FANTASIC! Alex was great on the stage even though he had just practising on it for five DAYS!
He sang beautiful (as always) and played very well!
The character he played was named Ketil Moe.
He had the disease Cystic Fibrosis (thanks Deanna). People with that disease is not known for living long, even not 10 years! But Ketil showed bravery and lived for 32 YEARS! Incredible.
Suddenly he meets the chines Mark Wang, who had nearly died in a plane crash. But survived because of his father. His mother gave up her sucsessful artist life for to take care of him.
Both of them were therefor handicapped. Togheter they started the first marathon for handicapped in China, there everyone won!
Ketil made to run New York Marathon 14 times, even with two transplanted lungs.  Wonderful.
That was little of the story. I thought it was lovely but really sad!

Hi Every Alex-lovers!

This will be my first post on the blog! Yey!
And it is all about Alexander^^
You see, Alexander is going to perform the lead actor in  the musical Some Sunny Night this wedensday. You all know, right?
Anyway, today, it was a full page of this in the newspaper. With pictures and everything^^

Physiotherapy: Finn Bendixen sees the similarity between Alexander and Ketil Moe.

 

 

Sweet Music: Alexander Rybak (Keteil Moe) plays together with Sigrid Gabrielsen (Ketils wife, Astrid) in Some Sunny Night.

Between Saturdays opera practice and Wedensday performance in Lillesand sings Alexander Rybak for Russias president.

1.

11th November Alex is going to play in the musical, ‘Some Sunny Night’ in Lillesand. Its made by Thomas Stanghelle who is a good friend of Alex.

Our lucky Stine is going to watch the musical

Here are some facts :

Thomas Stanghelle’s opera-musical Some Sunny Night will be performed in Lillesand, Møglestuhallen. Alexander Rybak will play the part as “Ketil Moe” and Thomas Stanghelle will play the part as “Mark Wang” from China. About 150 international artists will take part in this performance as a 10-year memorial perfromance for the “marathon-hero” Ketil Moe (1966-99). Also Her Majesty Queen Sonja of Norway is invited.

The Nobel Peace Prize Concert is going to be hold 10th December in Oslo, and Alex has been chosen out to represent Norway with the song ’Fairytale’.  The show will be broadcasted in over 100 countries, so this is a great way for Alex to end this amazing year.
