17th May in Oslo

This was truly one of the best days I have ever had! First I was in hometown to watch the celebration, and then I went to Oslo with my friends. We watched Alexander and Didrik and lots of other Norwegian celebrities. Alex was shining! It’s a long time since I saw that gorgeous smile of him, he looked so relaxed and not exhausted at all

ONE YEAR

16th May 2009 – the day everything changed. I’ve never felt so proud to be a Norwegian before when Alexander walked up on that stage after getting the highest score in Eurovision’s history. He also got a new record for most 12 points and another record for the biggest gap between the first and second place. This boy is a talent, I thought. And look what he has done to us during this amazing year! I have gotten so many new great friends that I wouldn’t have met if it wasn’t for him. I’ve never had so much fun before either.

I first saw him 17th May when he arrived Gardermoen, and ever since that I have adored him and been a crazy, huge fan of him. It has been a pleasure to be fan of him for one year.

Then one day something happened. The sparkle was gone. I thought “Why am I doing this? I am one of thousands and thousands of fans out there, why am I going so far to try to make him happy and show that I care?” I felt that all I had done had been for nothing, and I listened to this song all the time:

I thought that this was the end of the fairytale. It wasn’t tempting anymore to bake muffins and pay lots of money just so I could give it to him when he got home from a gig or something…I would never have done that today. I went to Sandvika because I wanted to see Frikar once more and because it was their last concert with Alex. Not even seing him on stage was that big anymore.

“Better to be hated than love, love, loved for what you’re not…”

But then they sent Fairytale the Movie on the TV on a Saturday evening, and it all became clear to me…

He is a genious! I am speechless…

Believe it or not, watching that movie was enough for me to get back to this Rybak-world. I remembered what he has done to my life… All the things I have done and everything I have worked for can’t be waisted…  His affection on me is incredible.

So tomorrow I will go to Oslo again to see him live once more. Happy Birthday, Norwegians!

Happy Birthday Seyma!

Sorry for the low activity lately, but now its finally May and we are back on track!

I am soon going to write all about Alex’s concert in Sandvika Storsenter which was Frikar’s last ordinary concert. So keep watching out for it! We have many shows coming up, 17th May in Oslo and of course EUROVISION!!! Ill be there at what I believe they call the “third dress reherseal”.

I would like to dedicate this post to our dear and lovely SEYMA who has birthday today HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! We all love you <333 Wish you the best day ever!
